With relatoo CRM+  you can send bulk e-mails from your authenticated domain without worrying

The relatoo CRM+ system sends e-mails from the relatoo.cz domain by default, but you can add your own domain (e.g. club.cz). It must first be authenticated using methods such as SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) and now, from 1 February 2024, DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance). Such technologies are the building blocks for effective domain verification and essential for improving e-mail deliverability and brand protection.

SPF: Protection against false sending

SPF is an e-mail authentication system that allows domain owners to specify which servers have permission to send e-mail on behalf of their domain. This will prevent your domain from being used for spam or phishing attacks. When the receiving server receives the e-mail, it can use the SPF record in DNS to verify that the e-mail came from an authorized source.

DKIM: Ensuring message integrity

DKIM provides an additional level of authentication by adding a digital signature to sent e-mails. This signature is verified using a public key that is published in the domain's DNS record. DKIM helps to ensure that the content of the e-mail has not been altered during transmission, which increases confidence in the authenticity of the messages sent.

DMARC: Authentication and reporting

DMARC uses SPF and DKIM to provide a comprehensive e-mail authentication solution, allowing domain owners to define the policy that should be applied if an e-mail fails SPF or DKIM authentication. DMARC also provides a mechanism for sending feedback on e-mails that have failed authentication, allowing organizations to better monitor and protect their e-mail communications.

Setting your domain parameter

Just set the DMARC parameter in your domain's DNS settings. Your unique parameter Name and Value settings can be found in the relatoo environment in the Sending Domain Settings.

Example name: _dmarc.relatoo.cz

Example value: v=DMARC1; p=none; sp=none; adkim=r; aspf=r; fo=1; rua=mailto:vas@email.cz; ruf=mailto:vas@email.cz; rf=afrf; pct=100; ri=86400

Completion of the verification process in relatoo CRM+

Once these parameters are set, the verification process will take place and once it is complete, the status for your domain will be set to green Verified in CRM relatoo. This completes the verification process and your domain is ready to be used for sending emails.
